Pyramid in Action

I've been out of touch with the world recently. I was terribly sick with fever, flu and sore throat. No, thankfully, it's not the bird flu even though I came back from Thailand. I'm in the recovering stage now. My nose is still blocked though. I've pasted 4 photos together here in sequence. I wish I'm still in Thailand on holiday.

James Bond Island

Yes, that's right. There is a James Bond Island in Phang Nga Bay, Thailand because it appeared in the James Bond movie "The Man with the Golden Gun".

Puppy island, Phang Nga

On the boat trip to James Bond island, we bypassed the puppy island. So cute, isn't it. It's a natural limestone formation.

Karon Beach, Phuket

This is Karon beach, Phuket. The sand was fine, the water was quite clear. the sky so blue... what more do you ask? picturesque indeed.

Phi Phi Leh, Thailand

Being a geography teacher, I couldn't resist taking photos of landforms. This coastal feature was taken on the 3rd day, while we were travelling on a longtail boat leaving Phi Phi Leh towards Maya Bay.

Man or Woman?

We went to see Simon Cabaret on our first night at Karon. She's one of our favourites. Pretty eh? We call her little mermaid.

Candlelight

I took this in a restaurant by Karon Beach, Phuket. Guess what happened on my first night there? BLACKOUT. The entire Karon was in darkness...How bad can my holiday be? Hahaha... Luckily, my friends and I were having dinner in a restaurant then. Outside was raining heavily. Plus the blackout, how miserable do you think I am?? Nevertheless, we managed to make fun of it. The owner brought out candles for the tables. Since, we had finished our food and were also trapped in the restaurant, I played around with my cam. Imagine me trying to take a sharp photo in darkness without using a tripod. This is the only sharp one and I really like it. However, I've not decided on a suitable title for it.

Sunset at Krabi

I'm back from Thailand. My friends and I went island hopping everyday. This was taken at Krabi. Lovely sunset isn't it? We were taking photos crazily because you can never see this in Singapore. Developed this photo at a shop in Krabi and the vendor commented that this can be made into a postcard. I'm absolutely flattered.
