Help me ...

It's interesting to see a variety of expressions in this picture. It was taken at the famous Wong Tai Sin temple in Hong Kong. The temple is considered a must-go when you go to Hong Kong. One need not be a believer though. As you can see from the photograph, there were some korean tourists in the background. They looked happy, weren't they? So interesting to visit a place of worship, eh? What about the locals? Some came happily, perhaps to thank the god for answering to their queries or solving their problems. The two ladies in the foreground were obviously there to ask the god for help. Their facial expressions tell it all. The can they are holding contains a lot of sticks. There's a number on every stick, and every number corresponds to a story. The person has to shake the can until a stick falls out. The person then reads the number and collects a piece of pink paper, containing the story. Usually, there are experts around to help people to decipher and interpret the story to other ple. The people may have different questions in mind, be it love, work, health etc. The story will help to answer their questions. Oh, although the story may be the same, it does not apply equally to all sorts of questions. One that is good for love, may not necessarily be good for work, or health.
